Reissue of "Sophtware Slump" by Grandaddy

Grandaddy - Hewlett's Daughter
Grandaddy - Crystal Lake

Sure a lot of bad things happened this year already, but I can't help but appreciate all the good things coming around even more and more. Sure we might be voting in crazy people for a chance at the office, and sure a lot of what we're doing now seems like a rehash of last year, but there is always good music to set things right.

Grandaddy, one of my all time favorite bands, and one of the leading shoegaze-y indie rock bands of the 90s and early 2000s, is doing a reissuing of one of their best albums: "Sophtware Slump". Although "Sumday", their third LP, will always hold the dearest part of my heart, there isn't a lot of bad things I can say about their sophomore album either.

Just take a listen to a couple of tunes, then head on over to One thiry BPM for the rest of the news, and rejoice!
