Camera Obscura - French Navy
It's Friday and that means it's time to bring out the wine. Seeing as how the weather's so awesome on here, I've decided its probably a good time to let you guys in on some indie-retro-faux-soul, brought to you by one of my favorite bands, Camera Obscura on their latest album which is 2 years old now.
This songs been stuck in my head for the past week, and I'm glad I've finally put it up here. It's got a lot of peppy energy, and the melody is very reminiscent of classic pop, and the orchestration is very... akin to a lot of what other Scottish pop groups do, but still incredibly apt.
